CH. PERIGOT, 27 CM, YEAR 1870

FRENCH POLITICAL GLOBE MADE BY "CH. PERIGOT", PRODUCED CIRCA 1870.
 
Some restoration and a slight sinking but no loss of information and a good general appearance (see photos). Sound of loose fragments of stucco inside. The sphere is made of stucco with the sections of the map glued by hand, the base in lacquered wood, the meridian arc, the horizon, the supports and finials in brass.
 
Measurements:  27 cm (11 inches) in diameter of the sphere, 35 cm in diameter of the horizon and 56 cm in height.
