COLUMBUS WITH LIGHT, 33 CM, YEAR 1960

GERMAN POLITICAL-PHYSICAL EARTH GLOBE WITH INTERIOR LIGHTING BRAND "COLUMBUS" "DUO" MODEL, PRODUCED IN 1960 ( see Globoterráquea dating section ).
 
 Good state of conservation with some littel scratches (see photos), the glass sphere with the map printed on a transparent adhesive glued by hand, the base in varnished wood and metal, semi-mid-arch and chrome-plated metal finishes. The electrical system is original of the period and is working. Off represents the political map and when turned on the physical one appears.
 
 Measures: 33 cm (13 inches) in diameter and 44 cm in height.
